Holiday House - 623 Northpoint Way

Holiday House is a year-round nicely furnished and decorated private 3,200 sq. ft. home with beautiful wood work and all the amenities you would expect. The retreat is located in a private setting at the end of Northpoint Way in the gated Northpoint community, with a view of Canaan Valley and backing the Monongahela National Forest and trails.

The home features central air conditioning, high speed internet with Wi-Fi, four bedrooms to comfortably sleep ten people, two kitchens, three full baths and one half-bath. The home has eight TVs with Direct TV, a large front porch with a valley view, a large back deck with a hot tub, gas grill and dining table, all on three levels including a two car garage with a casita above the garage.

The first level has a bedroom with two full-size beds, TV and desk top computer for use by guests, a bathroom with a two-person jetted bathtub, a pool table, a sitting area with comfortable leather furniture, a big screen TV and built-in surround sound system, and full size washer and dryer.

The second level includes a master bedroom with a queen size bed, TV, a full bath and direct access to the large private back deck and hot tub. The living room has Pottery Barn furnishings, with a soaring ceiling that is open to the staircase leading to the third floor. There is also a stone wood-burning fireplace and big screen TV. The dining area is open to the living room and has a table that seats eight. A sliding door leads to the large covered front porch with a view across the valley.

The kitchen is fully equipped with new GE Profile stainless steel appliances, island, and wall mounted TV. There is a full array of kitchen appliances and cooking utensils to create a Thanksgiving feast or crockpot dinner. The mud room is located off the kitchen with access to the front and rear decks plus the casita.

The third level has two bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and TV. The two bedroom share a full-bath.

The casita over the garage is an open-concept room with fully equipped kitchen, dining area, seating area with a big screen TV and surround sound system, and a half-bath. The room has five sliding glass doors providing a view of the valley and open air environment for those summer evenings in the valley. There is direct access from the casita to the front porch and living room, and to the back deck.

The home is very child-friendly with baby gates available for the stairs. Children will enjoy sledding on the side yard in the winter and watching the deer in the summer.

There is lawn in the front and side yards.  Please, no smoking. A pet is allowed for an extra fee. Winter visitors should plan on 4-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicles since the driveway is steep.

A canoe is available for use by guests.
