We had a pleasant experience booking with Mountain Top rentals. It was easy to book online and we were able to extend our stay by a day. Becky responded to emails even after regular business hours. I would definitely use this company for future rentals.

My family had a wonderful time at the vacation house. The game room did not disappoint. There were several activities to enjoy such as foosball, ping pong, air hockey and darts. The fenced in back yard is wonderful place for kids to play and we even found a sled to use. The house was stocked with dishes, utensils, soap and even some coffee, sugar and condiments. There were a few minor issues (dishwasher door kept falling open, stove burner not working) but nothing that detracted from our overall stay. The views are amazing and the hot tub is conveniently located on a balcony. The Internet is spotty at times but there are plenty of DVDs and books available, not to mention a chess/checkers table and the game room. I highly recommend this property.

Our trip was a great experience: quick responses to our needs and my scheduled accommodation.

The property is close to many (150) trails. My son loved the hot tub, the chess table upstairs, and the playroom with the table tennis in the basement. The color peak of the trees in Canaan Valley enhanced our marvelous experience overall.

We enjoyed the decks and the view. The fenced yard was a nice bonus.

All interactions were done by email, which is best for me.

What an amazing hidden gem at an unbeatable price! Us kids from the 90s got a kick out of the VHS and DVD movies and our own kids loved the game room with the extra toys and board games. The 3rd grade girl played The Game of Life every day while the younger boys played air hockey. We had s'mores in the fire pit and were a short drive from the Town of Davis to get take-out or go to Blackwater Falls. Thank you for hopefully starting a yearly tradition!

The team at Mountaintop Realty made my experience safe and easy. Due to Covid-19 the office was closed, but upon arrival they had an envelope with my name on it with directions to the property I rented. They also had provided a list of check out items, clear instructions and rules to follow for the property. Which was much appreciated! The property was spotless, easy to check in, check out and Mountaintop Realty was VERY easy to work with. If I had questions, I just called and they answered everything I needed!

My stay at Alpine View was PERFECT! If you're considering renting this house, I would HIGHLY recommend it! Especially if you want to bring your dog with you. The property has a pretty large fenced in yard! The pictures of this property do not do it justice, it's much bigger than it looks! The place was clean upon arrival, the hot tub on the deck was perfectly positioned for nice sunsets and views of the mountains. The fire-pit was a great place to have smores with the family after a long day at the ski resort only 5 minutes away. We were close to beautiful hiking trails and not too far from town. Other comments on this property mention a lack of cell phone service. I did not experience that at all and I have T-mobile. My in-laws had Verizon and they were fine as well. There isn't any wifi at the property....but honestly, you're in the mountains of West Virginia, didn't you want to get away? If you have cell phone data you can most likely access everything you need. Like I said, I could make calls, search the internet, everything, just not on wifi. There was nothing I did not like about this property- and for the price it's an absolute steal compared to what else is out there! I will likely rent this place again.

Very easy and simple procedure

Loved it, have stayed with properties y'all have in the past and will continue to do so in the future! Great location, quiet lane just off the main road. Just a few miles to Canaan and Timberline. Just a bit of a drive to Davis for supplies. Had cell service (ATT) so the lack of Wi-Fi was a minor inconvenience. Great spot for the hot tub and loved the game room downstairs.

As expected considering the pandemic restrictions.

We enjoyed our stay. Wifi would add a lot to quality of our stay since cell reception is not good in that region. Game room was a plus. First floor bathtub drain was super slow. Overall nice place to stay. Good location.

We had a blast at Alpine View! The house has plenty of space for a family to gather and connect. The house has most of the needed amenities and was very clean. The lack of wifi was a much larger problem than expected. How far is the grocery store and what are their hours, is there a hospital near us and how do we get there, Im ready to checkout and go home but have no idea how to get there. All these problems could have been answered with simple wifi access, but the lack of it and cell signal on Verizon phones left us concerned most of the week. We will make sure to make wifi a must on our next rental. All in all we had a great trip and had a blast skiing. The Mountaintop team was easy to work with and was a smooth process from check in to check out.

Amazing mountain views. We had snow on the ground so it was even more beautiful. Quiet, peaceful and serene. The hot tub, the game room, the open kitchen/living area, the layout in general of the bedrooms being split between upstairs and main. We are in love with your home! Honestly did not want to leave.

We went to the rental office on Saturday because we thought there was WiFi. The lady was very nice. We used the WiFi there.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, had suitable towels and linens. There was extra blankets. The kids loved the hot tub and game room. It was great to have a fenced in yard for our dogs. Please get WiFi. And update the TVs.

Everyone at the rental office was polite and courteous.

Alpine view is in a beautiful location with little traffic so we didn't have to worry about the kids or dogs outside playing. The layout was perfect two bedrooms on each level and the bonus game room downstairs. We would rent from Mountaintop Realty on our next vacation. The deck was spacious and had nice hot tub, picnic table and chairs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck at night watching the meteor showers.

The staff was pleasant and friendly.

The home was beautiful and the area was quite, just right for a family vacation.
