Description
Come enjoy Canaan Valley at Buck's Branch, located at the edge of the Monagahela National Forest. The valley has so much to offer. Choose your own adventure for skiing, fishing, hiking, rock climbing, or simply relax at the cabin. With the forest steps from our door, you can hike through the forest to a beaver dam, play games on the large lawn, stargaze in the evening, or simply relax in the hot tub!
This spacious home has 4 bedrooms each with an on-suite bathroom. The 1st floor has two bedrooms with king beds. The second floor has a queen bed, a kids room with one pyramid bunk bed and futon, and a loft with a futon bed. Every bedroom has a TV and upstairs is a WII gaming console. The kitchen is well equipped and has a Keurig coffee maker. There is a large ski entrance for all your outdoor gear. Four wheel drive / AWD is recommended in the wintertime to climb up the street. Come enjoy all that Canaan Valley has to offer!

The wall of windows are absolutely perfect and even better in person. The foyer/entry area to come in from snow activities is great when coming in from the cold.

We absolutely loved our time at Buck's Branch. It was the perfect space for our family to relax. We travel often, and Buck's Branch is one of the most beautiful and comfortable rental properties we have ever stayed in. The beds and couches were incredibly comfortable with top notches linens. The kitchen was a cook's dream kitchen and very well-stocked to make preparing meals easy and enjoyable. We had lots of fun playing foosball, soaking in the hot tub and relaxing by the fire pit. This is a phenomenal property in a beautiful location. We were a close drive to two different parks and many amazing hiking trails. We also loved that we were able to bring our dog to share in this wonderful get away.

Communication with Becky was hit or miss. My entire party overpacked bc my two of emails looking for clarification regarding what was supplied at the property went unanswered. This was very frustrating. Communication by phone was also spotty and I had at least two phone calls that were not returned. Otherwise things were fine

It was an absolutely wonderful vacation, the best I've ever had. I loved the feeling of seclusion at the property yet the convenience to so many things. We met Wild Bill who was over the top... definitely a memorable guy lol. And our trip into town in Davis took us to the home/shop of some incredibly friendly and inviting children's book authors. Great town, great house, great outdoor opportunities.
Love the architecture of the house (big windows, lots of natural light) and the way it's conducive to rooming many guests comfortably. The kids loved the hot tub. We also loved the big yard and fire pit. The location so close to state parks, refuges, and forests was a huge, huge bonus.
