A private, gated community located in beautiful Canaan Valley. You have access to both Spruce Island Lake and Sand Run Lake in Timberline to canoe and fish at (swimming prohibited by the HOA) and access to the Dolly Sods Wilderness Area.
You will be staying in a private, gated community. Please have a list of everyone that will be staying in the house (first & last names) and vehicle information. A guard house form will be given to you at check-in for you to put the information on that you will give to the guards.

Any chef, aspiring chef, or really good home cook will really appreciate this home. The oven could be larger to accommodate the number of guests this house holds, but overall, this was a fabulous kitchen.
Additional comments. The bedroom at top of stairs to the left is super comfy. I normally dread sleeping anywhere but in my own bed. Simply put, I am hard to please. The bed in the corner under the sloped roof was amazing! The pillow and even the extra comforter I borrowed from the closet (the white fluffy one) were awesome! Also,
Our kids loved the hot tub and the round table next to the kitchen.

We were very pleased with working with your staff. They were very friendly and helpful from the beginning when we made our reservations to the end of our stay. We had a couple of minor problems at the house when we first arrived and a service staff member came and took care of the problems very efficiently.

Everyone from our church had a great time. Whether it was raining outside, or nice, there was always something to do. Many played pool, a few played some video games, while others enjoyed the hot tub. The location to Dolly Sods made it great for hiking (right out the front door) and the fishing was great (from nearby trout streams, to amazing large mouth bass in the lake below).

Save a few needed repairs (shower door bar, faucets, electrical outlets, furniture), our visit was near perfect! The size was comfortable for all: three master bedrooms for the adults plus a girls room upstairs and a boys room in the basement. We found about everything we needed to prepare our Thankgiving dinner (except oven space..). The views were spectacular from all over the house. We made good use of the pool table, tvs, trails... Loved the round table and managed to fit all 11 of us there for Thanksgiving dinner.

Would absolutely stay there again. The area is gorgeous with tons to explore and the nearby town of Davis has so much more we'd like to see. Such an incredible location and the property was so open and welcoming. The house was inviting and encouraged everyone to relax and enjoy our time together as a group but also provided enough rooms with some privacy and tons of outdoor space for those who aren't as social and needed to recharge on their own every once in a while.
