We come with out daughters and their guys to connect ad a family. This was our 2nd of many trips to Canaan Valley. Our first trip before we dated was in 2004 with our church. It's been special to us since! Convenience to the slopes was awesome! The rocker in front of the fireplace was my fave spot!

We all had a fabulous time, it was perfect. The deer running through the back yard and bedding down was such a bonus. The hot tub was great, even in the snow. It slept 10 very comfortably.

Fantastic stay! great new property. we really loved the layout and all of the appliances etc were brand new. great place to spend thanksgiving One of the nicest rental properties I have ever stayed in. everything was brand new. the decor and the layout was fantastic; it simply beat all of our expectations

My family and I absolutely loved staying at Mountainside Vibes (formerly Spruce Lodge). The few renovations that were done were wonderful and we can't wait to see how it looks next year. The fireplace is amazing as well as the views. Loved the addition of the extra little bedroom on the main floor. We had a little problem with the Direct TV on Thanksgiving Day and the owner herself called me to try to get it resolved quickly. This is the second year in a row my family has stayed and we can't wait to come back next Thanksgiving.

They have all always treated us very well in a professional and friendly manner. They have accommodated us in every way possible and are a pleasure to deal with each and every time I've ever called and spoke to them ( Becky ) has always been very helpful with any questions we have had.

the windows and skylight brought in a lot of light and the outside. The furniture in the living room was very comfortable. The hot tub was very nice!

The booking process is very user friendly. As soon as I booked I immediately got an email back.

Lost Branch By The Lake was amazing. We are already trying to get all of the family interested for next year. I would highly recommend this house.

Weve been enjoying the Blackwater/Canaan area since the early 90s .. since then our children have grown and now they bring their families to the area! I love how they remembered going there and want the same for their children.. weve been there every season .. always have an enjoyable stay at one of your properties on the mountain in timberline! We loved the HUGE windows. Also the AC/heat made our stay quite comfortable. Gas fireplace was so valuable on these cold fall mornings.
